The young people participate in designing and developing their own Go-Kart, organising a trip out to Donnington Park Motor Sports museum, attending the local fire station and participating in a training session to cut a passenger out of a vehicle and finally giving a presentation to family, friends and staff about their work and showing off their Go-Kart.

This year 7 young people participated and completed the 12 week programme at Da Vinci  School in  Derby. Subject to funding we hope to be able to develop the programme further into other schools.

A big thank you to the staff at Da Vinci School for their support with the programme and Thank you to Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service on Nottingham Road for putting the young people through their paces.
